Ravanahatha Player, Jodhpur, India
An Indian musician plays a traditional stringed instrument called a Ravanahatha in the Indian city of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. Ravanahatha or Ravanstrom, a simple two-stringed bowed instrument, has been a part of India's ancient history. Today, it is used mainly by bards in the nomadic communities of Gujarat and Rajasthan. It is widely considered to be one of the most ancient stringed instruments played with a bow.
