Giants Causeway, Northern Ireland

The Giant's Causeway was named after an Irish myth. People of Ancient Ireland created a fable explaining how it was formed. It tells of two Giants, Fionn and Benandonner, who were rivals. The Giants lived on opposite sides of the Irish and Scottish coasts, respectively. The story ends with Benandonner building a bridge to challenge his rival.
