Australian Pelican
The Australian Pelican (Pelecanus conspicillatus) is a large water bird, widespread on the inland and coastal waters of Australia and New Guinea, also in Fiji, parts of Indonesia and as a vagrant to New Zealand.
In Bali Bird Park I was lucky to see the Australian Pelicans how much fish they can eat and how they can swallow in just one gulp, when they are fed on the Flamingo Lagoon twice a day, at 10 am and 2 pm. Its a great spectacle, and definitely worth dropping in for the excitement!
