Lake Titicaca

Lake Titicaca is a beautiful and much-venerated sacred lake that lies on the border between Peru and Bolivia. It sits 3,811 m (12,500 ft) above sea level, making it the highest commercially navigable lake in the world.
At 8,300 square km (3,200 square miles) in size, extends in a northwest-to-southeast direction for a distance of 190 km (120 miles) and up to 304 meter (1,000 feet) in depth, Titicaca is one of the largest, highest, and deepest lakes in the world.
