On the Fort campus of the University of Mumbai is this 84m-high Venetian/Gothic monument, inspired by London's Big Ben. Completed in 1878, it was designed by English architect Sir George Gilbert Scott. It is built out of the locally available buff coloured Kurla stone. The tower has one of the best stained glass windows in the city.
